About Black Alps

Let's Summit Together!

Black Alps is much more than a series of events. It is the beating heart of a tight-knit community of high-level cybersecurity professionals and enthusiasts. It is the social epicenter of a fast-growing ecosystem in one of the most important issues facing our society. Stakeholders are convinced that cybersecurity deserves greater attention, and that Switzerland has an important role to play.

Twice a year, Black Alps organizes events that aim to gather the community. While the Black Alps BBQ in June is a pure social event, the Black Alps Conference in November enables to discuss the latest threats, mitigations and advances in cybersecurity. Its program includes a diversity of talks, networking sessions and an ethical hacking contest (CTF) with the aim to:

Promote

cybersecurity
in Switzerland and abroad

Share

knowledge and experiences
on cybersecurity, privacy and digital
trust topics from a technical,
organizational, or legal perspective

Gather

the community
through professional and social events

Black Alps is supported by the HEIG-VD, Y-PARC Swiss Technopole, and staff involved in the previous cybersecurity events in Yverdon-les-Bains.

  • Content: The content is selected by a program committee. Our goal is to provide you with interesting and exceptional talks and workshops who are consistent with the industrial world.
  • Privacy: We assure you the confidentiality and privacy of your information; we do not share this information, especially we do not share it with our partners or sponsors.

The current committee of the association is composed of Sylvain Pasini (president), Yohan Martini (treasurer), and Maude Schneider (secretary). The other organizers (see below) are also members of Black Alps association.

Staff & people involved

Over the years, dozens of people have been involved in the organization of the conference. Without their contribution, Black Alps would simply not exist today.

Thank you all!
